How we develop players
Methodology
Principles
- 01
Technique before results
In development we never trade correct technique for winning a match. Results come later and last longer.
- 02
Everyone plays
In the first two stages every selected athlete gets court time. Competition is part of learning, not a reward for a few.
- 03
Jumping and landing are trained from day one
Most injuries in women's volleyball involve the knee and ankle, and are prevented with landing technique from the introduction stage.
- 04
School comes first
Academic performance is a requirement to compete. We support the family when a school difficulty appears.
- 05
We measure to decide, not to compare
Measurements adjust each athlete's plan against her own progress, never to rank her against teammates.
